Bombardier, F/LIST partner to deliver material benefits
Bombardier’s European customers can now see, touch and explore a multitude of cabin interior design options in one convenient location. In partnership with F/LIST, Bombardier is pleased to announce the opening of the new Material Lounge at its London-Biggin Hill Service Centre.
The 700-square-foot design destination features a full portfolio of interior materials, fabrics and components for aircraft enhancement. Customers looking to complete their new aircraft or refresh their existing asset will find all the tools they need to create an on-board environment that is uniquely personal, courtesy of the new Material Lounge.
The facility is managed by F/LIST, the Austria-headquartered pioneer in the design of innovative luxury interiors. With more than 1,300 samples of wood veneers, stone surfaces, leathers, fabrics, webbing materials and metal finishes, aircraft owners and operators can browse a full range of curated options to design one-of-a-kind interiors. Visitors will also have access to F/LIST’s innovative suite of biobased and sustainable design materials.
In addition to samples, the new Material Lounge will offer a cabin configurator to generate visual representations of cabin interior selections.
“The provision of such a unique offering underlines our ongoing commitment to support all aspects of the ownership experience,” said Paul Thompson, Senior Director, Bombardier Service Centres. “The European market is extremely important to us, and this latest addition to our largest service centre in Europe – and the largest business aviation MRO in the U.K. – confirms our commitment to world-class service and support.”
