Bombardier’s Singapore Service Centre wins two Aviation Week MRO awards, highlighting its continuous customer service excellence  

Bombardier’s newly expanded Singapore Service Centre won two significant awards at the recent Aviation Week Network MRO Asia-Pacific Awards on Sept. 25, 2023 for its ongoing service excellence.  

The 290,000-square-foot facility, now the largest OEM business aviation service facility in the Asia-Pacific region, was named Top Asia-MRO (Airframe) and OEM Service Provider of the Year.  

The MRO Asia-Pacific Awards recognize outstanding individuals and organizations that have displayed exceptional performance, innovation and superior service in the MRO industry. Last year, Bombardier’s Singapore Service Centre was named the Sustainability Initiative of the Year in recognition of its environmentally respectful design and focus on sustainable business practices.  

The facility’s recent expansion includes rooftop solar panels, carpark shelters to reduce energy consumption, conservation-minded building management systems, LED lighting and low-flow plumbing fixtures. In conjunction with partner Shell Aviation, the centre also offers sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). 

Bombardier’s Singapore Service Centre has been recognized with an impressive list of additional honours, including LEED Silver certification and Singapore’s Green Mark Gold. The Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) named it Best Maintenance Repair Organization in 2016 while awarding Bombardier the Best Manufacturer title in 2018.
