Bring your jet home in Melbourne – new facility up and running!

Bombardier’s latest enhancement to its worldwide aftermarket infrastructure footprint is a new state-of-the-art customer service centre at Essendon Fields Airport in Melbourne, Australia. Bombardier has now received the keys to the facility. The new service centre, to be officially inaugurated into the Bombardier service centre network in a grand ceremony on September 28, will feature major component, repair, and overhaul (CR&O) capabilities, a parts depot, fixed based operations and boast close to 30,000 sq. ft. of hangar space. The total facility is more than 50,000 sq. ft in size. Enhanced service capability at the site will include capacity to fit up to six (6) aircraft at a time, or two (2) Global 7500 aircraft.

Essendon Fields Airport is Melbourne’s business aviation hub and is strategically located less than 10 kilometers from the city’s business centre. The airport currently serves commercial, business aircraft, charter and general aviation aircraft.

The Melbourne Service Centre will greatly enhance Bombardier’s customer service presence in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, a strong and important market for Bombardier. With close to 90 Bombardier business jets in service in Australia, Bombardier is the OEM with the largest percentage of deliveries in the country, with 31% of the market (47% of the medium/large market).

If you’re ready to schedule a visit, please let us know. We would be proud to welcome you to our brand-new facility, where customers will enjoy the unparalleled Bombardier service experience.
