For example, Bombardier is the exclusive distributor of Honeywell’s IntuVue RDR-7000 Weather Radar System for the Global aircraft family (applicable to Global Express, Global XRS and Global 5000 aircraft equipped with Honeywell’s Primus 2000 XP avionics suite).  

Business aviation pilots need clear, timely information to detect, analyze and avoid weather conditions that could impact flight safety. When flying into bad weather or challenging environments, the RDR-7000 offers dependable, high-resolution weather radar, complete with airborne ground/sea mapping.  

The system’s baseline functionality includes predictive windshear, with available optional features such as longer-range turbulence detection and predictive lightning and hail detection.  

Additionally, Honeywell’s system is a drop-in replacement for the older P-880 radar and easily installed by the avionics experts at your preferred Bombardier Service Centre.
