Providing reliable, fast in-flight connectivity for our customers is paramount. Bombardier was the first OEM to offer Ka-Band satellite technology, and we continue to lead by delivering the latest connectivity solutions. We are pleased to offer a vast array of retrofitable internet connectivity products for our in-service customers and are looking forward to sharing more exciting announcements on this front in the near future.

Next, Smart Link Plus, our groundbreaking aircraft health management system, is transforming the meaning of a “connected aircraft”. This system leverages the power of your aircraft health data to help you make real-time, evidence-based decisions about maintenance, aircraft performance, and parts.

The award-winning Smart Link Plus service is the first of its kind in business aviation to deliver real-time actionable insights and true digital traceability of an aircraft’s history. Its encoded and encrypted infrastructure can automate tasks such as engine trend monitoring and flight performance data reporting* – both were previously done manually. Customers enrolled with Smart Link Plus also have access to the myMaintenance app, so they can easily view insights and make efficient maintenance decisions, saving time and money.

Smart Link Plus is incredibly beneficial, but don’t take my word for it – leading aircraft valuation provider VREF said the program is a key contributor to aircraft value. For example, VREF estimated that a Challenger 3500 equipped with Smart Link Plus could command as much as five per cent more on the resale market! Insurance underwriters and financing firms are also recognizing Smart Link Plus, with customers drawing benefits like insurance discounts from being on this service.
