IRT NX SATCOM system available for Challenger 650 and 605 aircraft

Bombardier is now offering owners and operators of Challenger 650 and Challenger 605 aircraft the new IRT NX SATCOM system for Iridium Certus services, an affordable option that delivers worldwide aircraft connectivity supported by the new Iridium network of low earth orbit (LEO) satellites.  

Owners and operators can now connect, stream, watch and communicate just as they can on the ground, with seamless connectivity through all stages of flight. They can also receive instant messages and voice calls over IP, access emails and browse the internet, all while enjoying higher data rates at lower data costs than with other L-Band SATCOM offerings.

The IRT NX SATCOM system from Collins Aerospace delivers exceptional pole-to-pole coverage and data rates of up to 704 Kbps, built on a low-latency, high-resilience network to support your most important in-flight communications and lower equipment weight, drag, and power usage.
