Our unwavering focus on parts ensures that we excel in supporting maintenance events, customers who have enrolled in our Smart Services programs, and a thriving Parts and Component Repair business.
This relentless commitment helped Bombardier secure the #1 position in AIN’s 2024 Product Support Survey, reflecting the trust our customers place in us.
Responding to growing demand with resilience
With 350 aircraft undergoing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across our world-wide services network on any given day, Bombardier has seen an impressive 40 per cent growth in weekly parts requirements since 2024. We’ve maintained an impressive 93 per cent on parts availability by taking decisive actions and managing supply chain complexities to protect our customers from delays and uncertainty.
But that’s not all. We’ve enhanced our Online Parts Ordering (OPO) system and today it accounts for 40 per cent of our parts orders. Bombardier has also seen tangible results from AI-driven parts forecasting, proven to be 85 per cent accurate in predicting the parts needed for any given inspection. To enhance this capability, we’ve hired data scientists and partnered with AI industry experts to further simplify and accelerate the parts experience.
While parts availability is critical, responsiveness matters just as much. Our team answers 200 to 250 calls daily within 20 seconds, ensuring aircraft owners and operators receive timely, personalized support. Our customers are confident that Bombardier will have the parts they need when they need them – or find a resolution, for an AOG event, within 12 hours.
