A prosperous year (and beyond) for Bombardier

After a landmark year that saw Bombardier focus exclusively on designing, building and servicing the world’s best business jets, the company last year reported increased revenues and a major rise in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA), among other positive indicators. This positive trend is set to continue in 2022.

Bombardier’s business jet revenues for the year were up 7% year-over-year at $6.1 billion, reflecting higher deliveries, a favourable aircraft mix, and strong aftermarket performance, which was up 25% from last year at $1.2 billion. The results highlight Bombardier’s commitment to support its customers as aftermarket services will continue to be an expanding part of Bombardier’s world-class portfolio.

“The increased and more balanced backlog is the result of an increased demand, which, combined with healthy pricing, is giving us the predictability and resilience at exactly the right time,” said Éric Martel, President & Chief Executive Officer, Bombardier.

Positive financial results from 2021 are driving Bombardier to look forward to 2022 with an optimistic outlook.  For further details, read the full press release.
