Bombardier announces strategic staffing shuffle in the U.S.

Bombardier is excited to announce some key organizational changes designed to facilitate further growth in the company’s aftermarket services network and the continued success of its Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) aircraft program.

Customers, please take note of the following changes at selected U.S. service centres:

Director, CPO Delivery and Entry into Service (EIS)

Marc Beaudette has transitioned from his current role as General Manager at the Miami-Opa Locka Service Centre to a new position as Director, CPO Delivery and Entry into Service (EIS), effective immediately. Marc is uniquely qualified for this important role, with pre-owned, completions and general manager experience. He will manage all aspects of entry into service for both new and CPO aircraft, following his successful launch of Bombardier’s Miami-Opa Locka Service Centre. Prior to that, Marc was general manager of the Tucson Service Centre, which became one of Bombardier’s preferred customer service facilities under his tenure. His incredible leadership and commitment to excellence in all aspects of customer service will ensure his success in this new position. Jason Reisser will be taking over Marc’s former role in Miami.

New General Manager in Miami

Jason Reisser has moved on from his role of General Manager at the Hartford Service Centre to take on a new position as GM of the Miami-Opa Locka facility. Jason is a seasoned maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) professional with more than 26 years of experience. Since joining Bombardier, he has demonstrated his abilities to serve customers and deliver results. This move will see Jason returning to his home state of Florida, and Bombardier is excited to have him join the Opa-Locka team.

Senior Director of Aftermarket Services, Americas

Michel (Mike) Menard has accepted a new role as Senior Director, Aftermarket Services, Americas. Mike brings with him a 30-plus year career in MRO operations. For the past three years, he has efficiently guided operations at Bombardier’s Tucson Service Centre. In his new role, Mike will oversee the continued growth and development of our service facilities in the U.S. Marco Melançon will step into Mike’s shoes at the Tucson Service Centre.

New General Manager in Tucson

Marco Melançon has been appointed General Manager of Bombardier’s Tucson Service Centre. Following 11 years as an aircraft maintenance technician with the Royal Canadian Air Force, Marco joined Bombardier in 2001 as a Quality Inspector. Since then, he has served in several progressive positions, including CPM, Operations Manager, Quality Manager and Director of Operations at the Laurent Beaudoin Completion Centre (LBCC) on the Global 7500 production line. In 2021, Marco joined the Tucson Service Centre as Operations Manager, a position in which he excelled.
