Two Bombardier executives joined in a Fireside Chat about “The Rise of Services” at Corporate Jet Investor (CJI) London Feb. 3-5, an annual global business aviation conference.

Zeshan Malik, Corporate Development & Aftermarket Program Management, and Paul Thompson, Senior Director, Bombardier Service Centres, highlighted Bombardier’s proven track record of client-centric service achievements in recent years.

Key components included a recap of the largest service infrastructure expansion in Bombardier history, including new facilities in Miami Opa-Locka (2022) and Melbourne, Australia (2022); expansions in London Biggin Hill (2022) and Singapore (2022); and the acquisition of the Berlin Service Centre in 2021. Both also highlighted the recent additions of a new material lounge at the site, as well as more then 3,000 solar panels at the Biggin Hill facility Malik also introduced the new paint facility at the London Biggin Hill Service Centre.

Malik and Thompson also discussed Bombardier’s expanded European presence and chatted extensively about the work Bombardier has done to fortify its service and support efforts worldwide with apprenticeship programs, working closely with local colleges and universities in specific service centre-based cities. As Thompson noted, this has been a very successful approach at London Biggin Hill, setting itself for long-term success.

Malik concluded the discussion noting that Bombardier will continue to focus on new opportunities in select markets around the world to ensure customers continue to receive and outstanding service and support experience.
