A big deal Down Under: Bombardier’s new Australian service centre open for business

I am very proud to announce that Bombardier has underscored its commitment to Australia and the Asia-Pacific region with a brand new, state-of-the-art service centre in Melbourne.

I was privileged to participate in last week’s grand opening event at the new facility as we officially inaugurated the service center with local government officials in attendance – all capped off with an inspiring celebration and smoking ceremony.  The facility has now opened its doors at the Essendon Fields Airport and will deliver a full range of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services to our valued customers, including a 4,000-square-foot parts depot and back shop capabilities.

Owners and operators are welcome to contact the Melbourne service centre team for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications, avionics installations and AOG support.

The Australian market is very important to us – in fact, the country’s business jet fleet includes close  to 100 Bombardier business jets. Bombardier is also the OEM with the largest percentage of deliveries in Australia.

As we continue to grow Bombardier’s global aftermarket support network, this new facility is a key component that will serve as a gateway to Asia-Pacific. In the past year alone, we have added close to one million square feet of service capacity in several key locations around the world.

This expansion brings us even closer to our goal: No matter where you operate, you are a part of our family. We want you to bring your Bombardier jet home.

Please reach out to general manager Corey Trudgen to schedule a tour or book your next aircraft inspection. We can’t wait to see you Down Under!

Sincerely,

Jean-Christophe Gallagher
