Bombardier’s comprehensive Safety Standdown event was also on full display at the show. Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Standdown returns to Wichita, KS Nov. 2-3 for an in-person gathering which is sure to live up to its goal of promoting lifelong learning to highlight the latest safety knowledge available throughout the industry.

Built around the main theme of Learn, Apply and Share, key presentations this year will focus on specific elements of Safety Management Systems (SMS), runway excursions, 25 years of automation airmanship leadership, productive culture in disruptive environments and more.This year’s NBAA-BACE featured a special 25th anniversary celebration honouring the many aviation professionals who have contributed to this special event over the years, ensuring that the premise of disseminating higher standards of safety and professionalism throughout the industry continues for another 25 years – and beyond.
