Community collaboration is the focus of Smart Link Plus webinars
On April 22, Bombardier hosted its first episode of the Smart Link Plus Exchange Forum, an online webinar series designed to foster community and share important information among customers who use Smart Link Plus, Bombardier’s innovative aircraft health monitoring service.
Hosted by product experts George Tsopeis and John Laggis the inaugural webinar attracted more than 50 customers who listened to tips for harnessing the power of Smart Link Plus during all phases of flight.
The Smart Link Plus Exchange Forum aims to get every stakeholder invested in the success of the service. The webinar series, planned to be a regular event, will encourage customer feedback on best practices, share ideas for getting the most from Smart Link Plus, and answer user questions.
In addition, a customer “mail bag” is being set up to receive questions and comments about the aircraft health monitoring service, which has consistently proven its worth.
Recently, some Smart Link Plus customers have qualified for discounted aircraft insurance premiums. The service was also recognized by leading aircraft valuation provider, VREF, as a key factor contributing to the resale value of Bombardier Global and Challenger aircraft. While considered as must-have baseline equipment for the Global 7500, VREF also found that Smart Link Plus could potentially increase the market value of a Challenger 3500 by up to five per cent.
