Bombardier is pleased to announce that Leif Mawsom has been appointed general manager of the company’s Melbourne Service Centre, effective May 13, 2024. 

Leif has more than 20 years of diverse aviation experience, including a strong technical background in aircraft maintenance. He is a skilled operations and training leader who is at home in highly complex, regulated, and unionized environments. His background includes management roles at Aviation MRO, Aviation Australia, the Regional Aviation Association of Australia and Qantas.

Officially opened in September 2022, Bombardier’s new Melbourne Service Centre offers a full range of services for every Bombardier business jet, including Global, Challenger and Learjet models. 

Bring your Bombardier jet home to Melbourne for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications, avionics installations and AOG support. The facility stocks an extensive supply of parts to ensure greater customer convenience and quicker turnarounds.
