EASA Environmental Portal – registration required!

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is responsible for collecting and making available aircraft noise certificate data (or equivalent noise documentation) of aircraft operating at airports in the European Union. This is in line with a regulation that applies to all foreign and local, private, and commercial operators flying to EU airports, with an aircraft that has a maximum certificated take-off mass of 34,000 kg or more, or with a certificated maximum internal accommodation of 19 passengers, excluding crew.

Such aircraft are required to sign up to the EASA environmental portal to ensure that the aircraft is in the Noise database, and to ensure that the Noise capacity in Europe is properly used.

Registration will be open until the end of March 2022. The form to register can be found here and needs to be sent to environmentalportal@easa.europa.eu.
