Engineering and innovation: a pillar of the OEM advantage

This year, Bombardier revamped and refreshed its brand identity.

When it comes to engineering talent, Bombardier leads the way in the business aviation sphere. Innovation is the driving force that propels our engineering and design teams toward even greater heights, as they build on each successive achievement to improve the aircraft ownership experience. Take, for example, Bombardier’s industry-leading EcoJet research project – an exciting program that is exploring the future of business jets with a blended wing body design and new propulsion systems that will cut aircraft emissions by up to 50 per cent.  

We are also blessed to have close to 1,800 factory-trained aircraft maintenance professionals on our team. With these talented technicians, Bombardier has you covered for any scheduled or unscheduled maintenance needs – no matter where you fly.  

Did you know that we’re also keeping things simple when it comes to projecting aircraft maintenance costs? In 2023, we launched Smart Services Elite, our most comprehensive cost-per-flight-hour program yet. Along with Smart Services Defense for our missionized customers, these programs provide one comprehensive bill that covers a full range of essential services: parts, labour, mobile repairs, landing gear, APU for all Global aircraft, avionics, technical publications and support, and shipping. More than 1,700 Bombardier aircraft are currently enrolled in Smart Services programs, representing more than 10 million flight hours – and counting.
