Global 7500 sets more than 50 speed records in under 50 weeks

Bombardier’s ultra-long-range Global 7500 aircraft continues to collect global speed records, showcasing its outstanding performance and unparalleled dependability on key routes such as Miami to São Paulo, Tokyo to Los Angeles, and London to Bahrain.

In fact, the Global 7500 jet has set more than 50 speed records in 50 weeks during customer demonstrations and other essential missions – with the average speed of its 10 fastest new records clocked at more than 1,000 km/h!

With nearly 200 aircraft in service worldwide and more than 180,000 flying hours logged, the Global 7500 aircraft epitomizes performance, comfort and safety in the skies. Aside from speed, the aircraft is the ultimate mobile home office – a productivity capsule offering every conceivable comfort and lightning quick connectivity. Passengers enjoy the ultimate in-flight experience with four distinct living spaces and a full-size kitchen. Assuming pride of place in the Global 7500 cabin is Bombardier’s patented Nuage seat, the first in business aviation to offer zero-gravity positioning.

Bombardier’s flagship of a new era, the Global 8000 aircraft, is currently in development with entry into service planned for 2025. The Global 8000 jet will build upon the Global 7500’s notable achievements, with an impressive range of 8,000 nm and an ultrafast top speed of Mach 0.94. A performance-enhancing retrofit will be available for customers who wish to upgrade their current Global 7500 aircraft.
