Latest Certified Pre-owned Market Report points to favourable conditions for aircraft buyers and sellers

The latest issue of Bombardier’s Pre-owned Market Report highlights more favourable conditions for business aircraft buyers and sellers, following inventory growth and price stabilization in 2023.

In general, pre-owned aircraft inventory increased last year. However, the last month of 2023 held a surprise, with transactions picking up significantly in late December. In Q4, the number of transactions for nine out of the 11 aircraft models covered in Bombardier’s 12th Pre-owned Market Report increased by 30 per cent, compared to the previous quarter. Inventory and asking prices also declined.

In a sense, 2023 brought the market back to reality following a surge in pandemic-induced activity. Looking ahead, Bombardier expects activity to trend positively for early 2024.
