Safety Standdown 2023 to explore ‘Integrity in Safety’

Join 400-plus aviation professionals – and thousands of online participants – at the free flight safety event of the year: Bombardier’s 27th annual Safety Standdown!

Mark your calendars for this year’s event, to be held Nov. 7-9, 2023, at the Wichita Hyatt Regency Hotel in Wichita, Kansas.

No matter what is your role in aviation, you’re welcome at Safety Standdown!

This must-attend, three-day seminar is legendary for sessions and workshops that take professionalism and aviation safety to new heights. Whether you’re a pilot, maintenance professional, flight operations manager, cabin crew member or even an aviation student, you’ll find the tools you need to elevate your safety commitment at Safety Standdown.

Our 2023 theme is “Integrity in Safety,” a concept that emphasizes how each and every one of us must take personal responsibility for safe flight operations. The bedrock of responsibility is integrity, and this means doing the right thing every time – no matter who is watching. With our actions, we have the chance to set examples that build trust and reduce risk. When we are strong safety role models, we all have the opportunity to raise our industry’s ethical bar.

Bombardier’s Safety Standdown Advisory Council, led by chair Melissa Cooper, is working hard behind the scenes to develop an event curriculum that includes perennial favourites as well as exciting new presenters.

The team has also secured discounted rates at our host hotel, the Wichita Hyatt Regency. This special rate includes complimentary Wi-Fi, self-parking for overnight guests, and access to health club facilities. Contact the hotel and use group booking code (G-SAF7) to access our discounted rate.

Clear your calendar, make your reservations, and join us in Wichita this November for the business aviation safety event of the year: Bombardier’s 27th annual Safety Standdown!
