Smart Link Plus Exchange Forum rolls out second episode

The Smart Link Plus Exchange Forum, an online resource designed to share important information and generate discussion within Bombardier’s Smart Link Plus community, has rolled out a second informative webinar. Our returning hosts George Tsopeis and John Laggis – both Smart Link Plus Customer Engagement Representatives – tackle the following topics:

  • First, did you know that as a Smart Link Plus customer, you are eligible for free personalized training sessions designed to help you get the most from this system?  In this episode, Smart Link Plus trainer and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Myles Riazifar describes how your instructor will tailor session content toward your type of aircraft – using your company’s own data!

  • Second, Peter Mok, Manager of Bombardier’s Customer Response Centre (CRC), explains how data from Smart Link Plus is accessed and interpreted by the CRC team to quickly diagnose and solve customer maintenance concerns.

  • Finally, while the operational benefits of Smart Link Plus are clear, Tsopeis and Laggis took time to outline some of these indirect benefits. In fact, customers experienced a 94 per cent first-time-fix rate when they called the CRC. Smart Link Plus actually lowers the risk of an insurable event – which is definitely of interest to aircraft insurance underwriters. The goal? To eventually obtain standard insurance discounts for all Bombardier aircraft equipped with Smart Link Plus.
