Special guest: Dallas mayor visits local Bombardier Service Centre

The team at Bombardier’s Dallas Service Centre was honoured to roll out the red carpet for a very special visitor on Jan. 30, 2024: Dallas Mayor Eric L. Johnson. This is the first time in several years that an elected official has visited the site.  

This was Mayor Johnson’s first visit to the busy Dallas Service Centre, which provides a full range of maintenance services for Bombardier’s Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft families. During his time onsite, the mayor met the facility leadership team, support staff and aviation technicians working in the hangar, setting the floor for an amazing time. 

The visit provided an excellent opportunity to showcase Bombardier’s work in Dallas, including its efforts to support the local community through training partnerships and by creating stable, high-paying jobs. Mayor Johnson also learned about Bombardier Defense continuing to ramp up on equipping Global and Challenger aircraft families with defense capabilities for special missions around the world.
