Bombardier has released its 2024-2025 Cold Weather Operations Infoservice on the customer portal. The document outlines operational difficulties resulting from colder temperatures and provides recommendations to overcome them.

The presence of ice, snow, slush or water accumulation may have serious effects on critical systems, such as engines, APU, wings, landing gear and the sensing elements.

The recommendations contained in the document supplement normal procedures and help ensure satisfactory operation of the aircraft and its systems in cold climates.

The first section of the 2024-2025 Cold Weather Operations Infoservice contains general guidelines that apply to all platforms. Additional precautions specific to Learjet, Challenger 300 series, Challenger 600 series and Global series aircraft can also be found in the document, as well as references, definitions, useful links and contacts.

The Cold Weather Operations Infoservice document is available on Bombardier’s customer portal.

If you have any questions, please contact Technical Services or your local field service representative (FSR).
