IMS software/database quick reference checklist

Bombardier is pleased to announce the release of a new quick reference checklist to help technicians validate that all software/database files loaded into the IMS/LRUs are available and compliant with the current avionics software version of the aircraft. This will assist in the event of an IMS replacement or software reconfiguration. 

This list includes all baseline and optional software/database part numbers, their associated LRUs and source location information to correctly restore IMS/LRUs. Each tab in this Excel file corresponds to a specific combination of avionics software version (V5.5, V5.8, V2.1, V2.2) and aircraft type (Global 5000 GVFD, Global 6000, Global 5500, Global 6500, G7500). 

The file is currently available for download in the myBombardier portal >> Library >> General Publications >> Operational Maintenance Materials section as "Global Vision IMS Software List" and "Global 7500 IMS Software List". This information will also be added in the upcoming release of Global 5000 GVFD, Global 6000, Global 5500, Global 6500 and Global 7500 SmartFix Plus as part of ATA 46. 

Please note that this checklist is intended as a troubleshooting guide only and is not an approved document. In the event of any discrepancy between this checklist and the information contained in the associated avionics software version SB or IPC/IPDT, the latter shall take precedence.
