If you’re hoping to keep the kitchen clean in your Global 7500 aircraft, Bombardier has the ideal solution: Remember to use a commercial food strainer like the one illustrated below when cleaning dishes in the galley sink.
The food strainer will help prevent clogging of the drains and, in turn, help avoid contaminants and food residue in the Galley Air Stop Valve which could reduce the drainage flow.
Optional SB 700-25-7555 is also available for customers who wish to reroute the draining lines for a direct draining. However, it is recommended to use a strainer each time dishes are cleaned, whether the Service Bulletin is incorporated or not.
