ATA 38 – Water system – Vent valve cleaning procedure

By: Sonia Gavrilidis – Technical Services

Bombardier would like to inform operators and maintenance teams that a cautionary note (see note 1) has been added to the Reference Information Letter (RIL) GX-0076 Rev. E Potable Water System vent valve P/N 4E3261-4 & 4E3261-5. The RIL can be found on the Bombardier Customer Portal. This cleaning procedure, as a good practice, should be accomplished every six (6) months to reduce events and unnecessary replacement of the component.

Should you have further questions regarding RIL GX-0076, please contact your local Bombardier Field Service Representative or the Customer Response Centre (CRC) team 24/7.
