Bombardier’s 2022-2023 Cold Weather Operations Infoservice document is now available on the Customer Portal.

This resource describes cold weather operational challenges and provides recommended solutions for flight crew and maintenance personnel.

Ice, snow, slush, or water accumulation may have serious consequences on critical aircraft systems, such as engines, APU, wings, landing gear and the sensing elements. The recommendations contained in the Infoservice supplement normal procedures and help ensure satisfactory operation of the aircraft and its systems in cold weather.

The first section contains general guidelines applicable to all platforms. Additional precautions specific to Learjet, Challenger 300/350, Challenger 600 series and Global series aircraft are also included, along with references, definitions, useful links, and contacts.

The Cold Weather Operations Infoservice document can be found on the Bombardier Customer Portal.

If you have any questions, please contact Technical Services or your local Field Service Representative (FSR).
