New windshield and side window inspection guidelines booklet

Effectivity: Challenger 600 series, Global Express and Learjet aircraft

ATA 56

An updated windshield and side window inspection booklet is available on the Customer Portal. The booklet was initially created several years ago as a handy go-to reference for maintenance and service personnel to assist with diagnosing the most common anomalies seen in service. It covers three platforms, Challenger 600 series, Global Express (excluding Global 7500*) and Learjet aircraft. The latest version has several new topics including crack identification, urethane conditions and others. Users of this booklet are reminded that the content is provided as a guideline only. Always consult the applicable CMMs (Component Maintenance Manuals) and AMMs (Aircraft Maintenance Manuals) for approved content, limits and operational requirements.

*This guide covers structurally loaded acrylic transparencies and therefore is not applicable to Challenger 300/Challenger 350 and Global 7500*

The booklet can be found in the portal Library: Document Type > General Publications > Operational and Maintenance Materials
