Global Express aircraft – BD-700-1A10 and BD-700-1A11 status:

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has released a new Revision 9 of the Master Minimum Equipment List (MMEL) for the Bombardier Global Express aircraft. This new revision incorporates changes associated with the Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) TR-20 revision.

The latest TCCA MMEL, Revision 8 and its most current temporary revision, TR-20, are also discussed within this communique. Revision 8 incorporates all changes from the temporary revisions since MMEL Revision 7. Temporary Revision TR-20 specifically documents the Avionic Version V5.8 software updates (also known as Tech Insert Phase 1) and includes new Crew Alert System (CAS) messages associated with the option.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) MMEL has not been updated since Revision 15; however, changes will be submitted to the FAA soon. These changes will seek to align the FAA MMEL with the latest versions of the TCCA documents.

The documents are accessible through the Bombardier Customer Portal.  Click through this path to navigate to the associated MMEL:
