Single Point Pressure Refueling electrical bonding strap interference with refuel coupling

Effectivity: Learjet 60 aircraft

ATA 28 - Fuel

By: Kevin Ensminger – Learjet Service Engineering

Several operators have reported difficulty in performing Single Point Pressure Refueling (SPPR) due to interference of refueling nozzles with the bonding strap on the refuel coupling.

Bombardier released an optional Service Bulletin in 2009 (SB 60-28-15) which addresses this condition by replacing the bonding jumper and attaching hardware to allow better clearance to the refueling coupling. This SB is minor in content and has an estimated accomplishment time of 2.5 hours.

Operators experiencing this condition should have the above SB complied with to eliminate the condition. For additional information or questions, please contact your regional Field Service Representative.
