SRPSA information
All Programs
In an effort to improve the response time when responding to customer’s Service Request for Product Support Actions (SRPSA), Bombardier Technical Services would like to take this opportunity to remind all those that raise SRPSA’s of the minimum information needed for each SRPSA submission.
Please populate the SRPSA form with the following necessary information:
• Originator or Contact Name / Phone # / email address / Customer Account # / Purchase Order / A/C serial Number / A/C Model / Aircraft Hours / Aircraft Landings / Subject – ATA Chapter / Current Date / Response Required By / Aircraft Departure / Service Level / Subject
• In the “Subject” field, aside from a clear and concise description of the issue and what you need from BA, please include the part numbers of the components affected. If you cannot obtain the entire part number from the part itself or the applicable AIPC, please use the SRM to locate the partial part number.
• Please populate the “Aircraft Departure” field – this field is overlooked almost all the time, but this information is very helpful to the Technical Services/Service Engineering team. When we are experiencing a high volume of SRPSA’s we use this information to help us prioritize the work ahead.
• Additionally, please provide a secondary contact. Often, there is only a singular contact on the SRPSA, and this person may not be available 24/7. If we a have a secondary contact that we can reach to address any questions we may have, it will help us get your SRPSA response to you sooner.
• A good, complete damage report is critical in providing a timely response to our customers, we simply cannot stress this enough. A damage report with clear photos, references and pertinent dimensions of the damage and the location of the damage helps us immensely. Remember, we are not with you in the hangar or on the tarmac, so we must rely on you to be “our eyes”. Help us to see what you are seeing.
Taking these small steps when you are submitting an SRPSA will go a long way in minimizing the time it takes to respond to your engineering issues. Take a little time at the start and save a lot of time at the end.
