Tech Corner search tips: Quickly find the information you need

The Tech Corner section of Bombardier’s Full Throttle customer blog contains a wealth of information to assist in the maintenance and operation of Bombardier business aircraft.

With just a few clicks, it’s easy to pinpoint the content that applies to your particular platform.

Here are four handy tips to get you started:

1.  Click on your platform name.

Every Tech Corner post is linked to the applicable aircraft platform(s): Learjet, Challenger, or Global. The Tech Corner landing page displays all available articles, listed by date with the most recent on top. If you want to find all Challenger-related posts, for example, simply scan the gold-coloured tags on top of each headline. Click any place you see the word “Challenger.” Instantly, all Challenger articles will appear on your screen.

2.  Search by keyword.

In the “search by keyword” box on the main Tech Corner landing page, simply type in “Learjet” or “Challenger” or “Global.” Again, this will bring up all content related to that platform, with the most recent on top. It’s also worth noting that you can search by more generic keywords, such as “wing” or “landing gear” to find all related articles.

3.  Search by ATA code.

The “Search by keyword” function can also be used to call up a particular Air Transport Association (ATA) coded document. For example, if you are searching for content related to ATA 09 (towing and taxiing), just type that into the keyword search box and all related articles will be displayed.

4.  Search by date.

If you want to see content from a particular time frame, the drop-down menu for the “Browse articles by date” box allows you to choose a specific month and year. Clicking on “September 2022” will show all articles posted in that month, for all platforms. Please note that this function only goes back to April 2021 – earlier articles can still be accessed via the Customer Portal library.
