Upgrade of fuel quantity management computer software V3.2 re-released

Bombardier would like to inform operators and maintenance personnel of the re-release of the recommended Service Bulletin (SB) 700-28-7502 Rev 1. This SB provides instructions to upload the latest fuel quantity management computer (FQMC) operational software version 3.2.  

The initial SB  was put on hold in May 2021 due to unforeseen events that led to the replacement of some FQMCs. This was communicated through the AW700-28-0821. SAFRAN Aerosystems is actively working on a solution to prevent the inadvertent interruption of the software upload caused by the normal avionic bus latencies. Until a corrective action becomes available, Bombardier has increased the pool of FQMC pre-loaded with the latest software to support the SB campaign. 

The operators that have not already complied with the SB700-28-7502 can now communicate with the Bombardier In-Service Implementation Team (ISIT) to schedule the incorporation of the SB.
