Bombardier’s Hartford Service Centre successfully completes a Challenger 300 midlife inspection

Bombardier’s Hartford Service Centre in Windsor Locks, CT, is celebrating the successful completion of its first 7500 Landing inspection on a Challenger 300 aircraft.

The project – completed in early December 2023 – is the third of its kind to be performed by a Bombardier service facility in the United States. Two have been completed at the Tucson Service Centre, and another Challenger 300 aircraft is ungoing the procedure in Hartford once again. Another Challenger 300 aircraft is having the same inspection at Bombardier’s London Biggin Hill Service Centre.

The 7500 Landing inspection is the largest and most significant check that can be performed on the Challenger 300 aircraft platform, and the Hartford team is proud to provide this critical service.

“Our team is excited and proud to have completed this substantial inspection,” said Bryan Bell, General Manager of the Hartford facility. “Our factory-trained technicians will be ready to assist other Bombardier customers as more of the Challenger 300 fleet comes due for midlife checks.”

The extensive inspection was completed thanks to the expertise and experience of our OEM technicians, with the aircraft returned to the customer on Dec. 8.
