Close-up: Ravneet Kaur, Analyst, Program/Project Control, Bombardier

Q. What is your title and role with Bombardier? How long have you worked at the company? 

A. I am a Global Expansion Project Manager for the Customer Experience team, and we are leading some of the most interesting and important international service centre expansion projects around the world – including Service Centre expansions in London Biggin Hill and Singapore, and new facilities in Miami, Florida and Melbourne, Australia.  Our team works closely with customers to ensure all their needs are met. 

I remember when I first moved to Montreal and started looking for career opportunities. Bombardier stood out to me as a global company with thousands of employees worldwide. I started working at Bombardier in 2016 as an intern while finishing my MBA part-time. Bombardier provided me with a lot of flexibility, balancing my personal interests and educational responsibilities while helping me pursue my overall career development. 

During the past six (6) years, I have worked in a variety of different departments and met some great people and true leaders at the company.  My experience so far has been wonderful.  

Q. What makes you proud to work at Bombardier? 

A. Each project presents unique challenges and I always have interesting problems to solve. I also get to work with—and learn from—compassionate, smart, incredibly talented colleagues every day. I am humbled by the degree to which leaders at Bombardier make others their top priority, and I have learned more than I could have imagined during my time here. This is exactly how I wanted to grow and develop in my career. I am proud to be part of the Bombardier family! 

Q. What is your favourite Bombardier aircraft or product and why? 

A. I’d have to say it’s the Global 7500 aircraft. It has an incredible range (it can fly from Montreal to India) with exceptional features, and luxurious interiors.
