London Biggin Hill Service Centre: Fuelled by green energy and founded upon OEM expertise

Customers at Bombardier’s London Biggin Hill Service Centre already know the newly-expanded facility is world class – but did you know it was also designed with sustainability in mind?

Recently, more than 3,000 roof-top solar panels were powered on to supply up to 32 per cent of the centre’s total energy demand. The panels are expected to generate more than 1.133 million kWh of electricity annually, lowering annual carbon emissions by up to 250 tonnes.

Bombardier’s London Biggin Hill Service Centre is the largest business jet MRO in the U.K., offering complete tip-to-tail heavy maintenance services for Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft. Along with expert factory-trained engineers, the facility offers 24/7 services with extensive back shop and NDT capabilities. Recently, construction began on a new 51,000-square-foot paint facility, which will add yet another capability when it opens in the second half of 2026.
