How to find the Alternate Parts Table in the Supplemental Illustrated Parts Catalogue

Bombardier has created a list of alternate parts – mainly used for interior STCs – that may be ordered when original parts are obsolete or unavailable. 

The Supplemental Illustrated Parts Catalog (SIPC) Alternate Parts Table is accessible to Global and Challenger aircraft operators via the Customer Portal. 

It is important to note that this list does not replace the current procedure of filing a request (via SRPSA) if the part required is not included in the document. 

Here is how to access the SIPC Alternate Parts Table document:  

1. Log into the Customer Portal. 

2. Go to Library. 

3. Select the Smart Pubs Online Manuals link (Figure 1)

4. Click on New SmartPubs and SmartFix Plus (Version 5) (Figure 2)

5. In the search box, type your aircraft model, ex: “Challenger 300,” then click on Challenger 300 Maintenance (Figure 3)

6. Scroll down to Others (Figure 4)

7. Find and review the SIPC Alternate Parts Table document (Figure 4)
